Overview

 

Runestones Development Corporation is developing the Client Activity Tracking System, which is a computer-based data management system designed to manage client activities and case information. It is written in Borland Delphi C/S with Microsoft SQL Server as the database engine. It will be available in the Spring 2005. 

 

Its core features include:

 

Tracks caller information, including name, address, and phone/e-mail.

 

Tracks client information, including name, address, phone/e-mail, and demographics.

 

Tracks call history, including date, time, general information, and notes.

 

Tracks issues relating to a given call and/or client, including issue type and description, as well as notes.

 

Tracks Services delivered for a given Issue, including Service Level, Status, and Outcome.

 

Tracks Cases related to a given Client and the pertinent Issues, including General Information, Opposition Party, and Case Summary

 

 

The system also supports the following features:

 

Fully Accessible for people with disabilities, including support for Jaws for Windows screen reader from Henter-Joyce.

 

Fully Integrated Lookups for Callers, Calls, Clients, Issues and Cases

 

Summary Information provided throughout system, including Caller Name, Client Name, Total Calls, Cases, and Issues.

 

Ability to display Issues by either Caller or Client

 

Ability to manage Contact information for Cases.

 

Integrated Document Management that links documents to particular Issues and Cases.

 

Full Report Management, including information on Calls, Callers, Issues, Services, and Cases.

 

Integrated E-Mail for any MAPI compliant system, including Microsoft Outlook.

 

Ability to Filter display of information within the system by User, Date, and various other criteria.

 

 

System Requirements

 

The Client Activity Tracking System [CATS] is a 32-bit Windows application. The program requires Windows 98, or Windows NT/2000, mouse, 128 megabytes RAM (256 megabytes recommended for best performance), and a hard drive with approximately 30 megabyte of free disk space. In addition, it requires Microsoft SQL Server Version 7.0, or better, as well as Microsoft Exchange Server Version 5.5, or better.  The required Borland Database Engine (BDE) with the MS SQL Links driver (SQLMSS32.DLL) is installed during the installation of the application.

 

Client Systems

  • System with an Intel Pentium 300 or faster processor

  • 128 MB of RAM (256 MB or better recommended)

  • 30 MB of free hard-disk space (100 MB recommended)

  • Windows 98, Windows NT Version 4.0 (with Service Pack 4 or later), or Windows 2000 Professional (with Service Pack 2 or later)

Server System

  • System with an Intel Pentium 300 or faster processor

  • 256 MB of RAM (512 MB or better recommended)

  • 500 MB of free hard-disk space (1 GB recommended)

  • Windows NT Version 4.0 Server (with Service Pack 4 or later, or Windows 2000 Server (with Service Pack 2 or better)

  • Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 (with Service Pack 4 or better) or SQL Server 2000 (with Service Pack 2 or better)

  • Microsoft Exchange Server Version 5.5 (with Service Pack 3 or better), or Exchange Server 2000 (with Service Pack 2 or better  - (Required for Integrated Scheduling)
